Developed by Drive DeVilbiss Sidhil and manufactured in the UK we present Sidhil’s advanced, electrically operated profiling beds. Developed for the acute environment and designed around optimising tissue viability, infection control and health and safety in terms of manual handling and falls prevention. Our hospital beds are produced to stringent UK and European standards, meeting all safety and operational criteria.
Sidhil beds have the flexibility to cater for a wide range of patient groups in all wards, resulting in reduced requirements for transfer from bed to bed. Many beds are height adjustable and able to descend extremely low to minimise the risk of falls, particularly for elderly and infirm patients in line with NHS falls prevention strategies. A full range of side rail options is available to match requirements and safety specifications.
In order to reduce the time staff spend repositioning patients, many beds feature auto-contouring where the backrest and knee break operate in harmony, playing an important part in the prevention of pressure ulcers.
Redesigned handset controls using graphics ensure that electric profiling beds can be positioned quickly and accurately in line with nursing procedures. Handsets also feature ‘lock out’ functions to enable safe use by patients.
Carefully engineered components keep manufacturing costs down, ensuring the beds come to market at a competitive price level.
