Sidhil provides a dynamic service in Northern Ireland

Sidhil has been awarded a major service and maintenance contract in Northern Ireland by the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, the Northern Health & Social Care Trust and Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, providing maintenance and repair services for dynamic mattresses and seat cushions currently in use across acute hospital and community health applications.

Estimated to cover in excess of 4,500 items from a range of manufacturers including Sidhil’s own products, the contract is for four years and includes planned service and reactive maintenance, with Sidhil guaranteeing a four hour response time to ensure dynamic surfaces remain in operation to protect vulnerable users.

The contract was awarded following an in-depth tender process, where Sidhil demonstrated the capacity and expertise to manage and execute the individual requirements of this complex contract, which covers dynamic products in use in both acute and community settings.

Sidhil has established a dedicated in-house team to manage the logistics of the contract, tailored to meet the needs of the three Community Trusts. All necessary repair work will be carried out by qualified and experienced staff at the company’s Belfast service centre and managed through one point of contact to ensure optimum levels of customer satisfaction.

In addition, all activities and processes will be recorded and documented through Sidhil’s new e-SID service and maintenance tracking system, in line with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission’s Outcome 11 specifications.

Sidhil will also carry inventory stock to ensure that no interruption to services is experienced by users of the dynamic surfaces during maintenance and repair procedures.
