New HR manager joins Sidhil team

As part of the company’s commitment to developing and building on the skills and strengths of its people, Sidhil has announced the appointment of HR professional Nicola Wright as Human Resources Manager, based at the company’s West Yorkshire head offices and manufacturing facility.

Nicola, who is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, has a degree in Human Resource Management from Northumbria University. She began her career with Moto Hospitality, the UK’s biggest service station operator, where she also worked on the operational side to broaden her commercial experience.

In 2007, she moved to retail giant TK Maxx as Human Resources Coordinator working initially in the logistics department before taking up a role as Regional Resourcing Coordinator, looking after recruitment for store managers and deputies, then on to a new position as Human Resources Officer at TKMaxx’s distribution centre in Castleford.

In 2011, looking to expand her experience in a different sector, Nicola was appointed Human Resources Manager for Heckmondwike Grammar School, presenting a series of new and varied HR challenges due to changes in educational structuring and governance.

Nicola’s new role at Sidhil will involve her in people management and development right across the organisation, where she will focus on ensuring the company continues to upskill its people to meet the challenges of the future.

Nicola has a four year old daughter who keeps her extremely busy, but also finds time to enjoy music and attending concerts!
