Drive DeVilbiss Sidhil introduces Bradshaw Wide premium nursing care bed

The requirements of modern care homes continue to evolve, moving towards premium spaces with increased square footage and wider beds for added occupant comfort. To match these requirements, Drive DeVilbiss Sidhil has enhanced the ever-popular Bradshaw bed range with the addition of the Bradshaw Wide electrically operated fully profiling luxury nursing care bed.

Retaining all the advantages of the established Bradshaw range of beds, the Bradshaw Wide offers an attractive domestic appearance to match the care home setting, with a choice of elegant wood finishes and optional padded head and foot ends in a range of subtle colour shades.

Easy To Assemble Profiling Bed

Although it is designed around a wider platform, the profiling bed is still quick and easy to assemble and disassemble, with an infinitely variable tilt for comfort and to facilitate specific nursing procedures. For added safety, the bed features full length, self locking side rails with release clips at both head and foot ends.

In addition, the Bradshaw Wide adheres to current dementia care recommendations, with smooth bed movements, conformance with all gapping requirements and profiling actions designed to assist occupant movements from lying to sitting. Sleeping positions are infinitely variable to suit individual needs whilst padded head and foot ends can reduce the risk of injury.

Matching 4G Memory Foam Mattress

Available for use with the Bradshaw Wide is Drive DeVilbiss Sidhil’s 4G memory foam Acclaim Cool mattress, featuring an ‘open cell’ polymer structure which can air flow by up to 95%, This open cell structure enables the foam to relax more quickly in response to body heat, providing greater comfort and support for patients nursed on these surfaces.

The Bradshaw Wide can accommodate occupants weighing up to 150kgs (28 stone).
